My name is Yish and I am a fine art film photographer whose passion is nature and landscape photography that seeks to bridge a sense of connection to the expansiveness of our natural world.

The purpose of my art is finding that in between space where everything exists simultaneously; past, present, future, and all possibilities. I am constantly chasing moments of fleeting timelessness and questing for magical properties in light to bring an openness, spaciousness, and a wistful dreamlike quality to my work. My sources of inspiration are the constancy of the stars, the lost mysteries of the sea, and the vast, eternal horizon.

Nature moves me immensely – I find myself borrowing her patterns and drawing from the universal languages of light and color to weave together stories that are otherwise bound to silence for lack of effability.
