Kayla Anderson is an artist, writer, and caretaker who loves to spend time staring intimately into the eyes of insects. She uses video to trace connections between people, places, and things, with the hope that art can perform work on our social and cultural imaginaries: expanding the realm of the possible and making tangible ways of seeing and being in/with the world.

Her work has been shown at various artist run spaces in the US, Australia, and Vietnam. Her writing has been published by Leonardo Journal (MIT Press), Art & Education, Aperture Magazine, Temporary Art Review, and Kunstlicht.
