We are Cultural Fire Events Inc., an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization based in Utah. Cultural Fire Events specializes in hosting Indigenous events by creating cultural and educational experiences for Indigenous people and the general public. We do this by hosting powwows, gatherings, and celebrations throughout the state of Utah. We aim to create family-friendly events that increase the well-being of the Indigenous community while encouraging our youth to learn and practice our traditional ways of life. We also aim to support small businesses, artisans, entrepreneurs, and Indigenous leadership through the participation of our events.
We would like to thank our generous sponsors, partners, and donors, Utah Department of Cultural & Community Engagement, Sacred Circle Healthcare, The Heber Valley Utah, Utah Division of Indian Affairs, and River’s Edge Campground. With gratitude and thanks, the Intermountain Championships Powwow Committee wishes to acknowledge those that traditionally knew this land as home. Because of the hard work and dedication of the Indigenous community, this powwow has been made possible.
