Northern Arizona Book Festival
Friday, March 31, 2023 - Sunday, April 2, 2023
Fostering literary community through the creation, publication, showcase, and investigation of contemporary literary arts from Northern Arizona, the Colorado Plateau, the American Southwest, and beyond.
Established in 1997, the Northern Arizona Book Festival (NOAZBF) is a literary nonprofit based out of Kinłání (aka the bordertown of Flagstaff, Arizona). It coordinates readings, panels, workshops, contests, and more that reflect the literary interests and cultural issues that define life in the Colorado Plateau region of Northern Arizona. The Northern Arizona Book Festival is back this year March 30th through April 5th, with our main festival events taking place over the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
How is this book festival unique? Each year, we celebrate our beautiful mountain town by holding events all over downtown Flagstaff. From the public library to Heritage Square to a local coffee shop, all events are within a mile or two. In the last few years, we've also added virtual events to extend the accessibility of the festival. Take a peep at what the festival has looked like in the past. This year you can find us at Liminal Cafe, Heritage Square, the downtown Flagstaff-Coconino County Public Library, Late for the Train, The Annex Cocktail Lounge, Flagstaff Brewing Company, and many others! Please check our website for more information.
